A 1991 graduate of the University of Health Science in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Jon Shrader completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Shrader opened Clovis Family Healthcare as a way to bring comprehensive, friendly care to families in the region. He practiced in Clovis for more than 20 years. It is an honor to continue his legacy.

Shay was born and raised in Clovis. She enjoyed 10 fulfilling years at the beside in various specialties including Psychiatric, Cardiac Stepdown and Medical-Surgical. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Shay graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing after receiving her Nursing degree from Clovis Community College and her Bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She has a passion for serving the community where she grew up, developing lifelong relationships with families of all ages and providing personalized care to individuals in the surrounding area. Shay is excited to care for all your health care needs at Clovis Family Healthcare.

Born and raised in Clovis, Laci is dedicated to this community and giving back to others. Laci received her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Prior to this, she received her nursing degree from Clovis Community College and her Bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University. Laci has a diverse history prior to joining Clovis Family Healthcare, including experience in Pediatrics, Flight Nursing and Emergency Medicine. Laci believes that trust is the foundation of any relationship and that by working together with patients and families the best plan of care will be developed to optimize health. Laci loves to spend time with her family and is very involved in the farming and ranching community. Laci is ready to once again provide service to her community and help others achieve their best health.

Joy Boney is a lifelong resident of Clovis. She earned her nursing degree from Clovis Community College and bachelors from Eastern New Mexico University. Joy received her Master of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the state of New Mexico. Joy has always felt a connection with Clovis and has a desire to help people within this community. She believes building bonds and relationships with her patients is key to positive outcomes. Joy has two beautiful children. She has been a member of several civic groups including Clovis Rotary club and values service to others. While she was the service chair of that board she loved to find ways to give back to the community. Joy is excited to be at Clovis Family Healthcare and to have the opportunity to again serve this wonderful community. She looks forward to building a professional relationship with you and helping with your healthcare needs.

Kelsi has lifelong ties to Clovis as she was born and raised in the Texico/Clovis area. Kelsi received her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, a Master’s of Science in Nursing Administration from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Eastern New Mexico University, and her Nursing degree from Covenant School of Nursing. Kelsi started her healthcare career as a Certified Nurse’s Aide in 2004 and has been working as a Registered Nurse since 2008. Kelsi’s nursing background is in Emergency Medicine and teaching as a nursing instructor. Kelsi and her husband love chasing their two boys around from various sporting and school events. As a family they enjoy going to the mountains, the lake, and many other outdoor adventures. Kelsi has a passion for rural health and is excited to serve the needs of Clovis and the surrounding communities.

Blake has a background in business and political science. He earned his degree at The University of New Mexico. He currently farms in the area and is passionate about helping others. Laci is a Family Nurse Practitioner and has a diverse background in healthcare. Blake and Laci have two children and enjoy an active lifestyle.
